  • What is required to reserve date(s)?

    • A signed contract and 30% deposit is required to hold a date. An additional 50% is required 120 days prior to your rental with the remaining 20% due 60 days prior. ​

  • ​What are Derby Lane's Standard rental days and times?

    • The standard rental package includes three (3) days of access allowing for sufficient delivery, set-up, move-in, and event break down time. Derby Lane believes building out the perfect event should not be rushed and its rental contracts reflect that view.​

  • What rental dates are available and are there other rentals and events held the same week?

    • Derby Lane has limited availability by design. We want each rental and event to be unique so dates between late April and October are limited. Only one rental / event may be held each week with all attention (from property preparation to design, installation and move-in) 100% focused on your event.  ​

  • What is Derby Lane's Rental Pricing?​

  • Can a wedding rehearsal dinner or rehearsal ceremony be hosted?

    • Absolutely, with extended access to the property, ​rehearsals and rehearsal dinners may be held. 

  • How many people can the estate accommodate for an event?

    • With over 45 acres the options are endless. Subject to some restrictions events with over 300 people may be held. ​

  • What if we need a bigger tent and more chairs or tables than what is included in the rental agreement?

    • No problem. ​Subject to additional fees, Derby Lane staff will work with you on additions as needed to ensure all the items are available for your event. 

  • Can we use vendors of our choice?

    • Other than tenting and the use of one of our exclusive catering companies, Derby Lane allows you to use any vendor of your choice, however, we highly encourage you to speak with one of our preferred vendors that are intimately knowledgeable of our facility. If the vendor is new to our property they must meet with our staff prior to the event, as well as provide documentation meeting our insurance requirement. 

  • Will Derby Lane have staff onsite during my event?

    • Yes. A property / venue manager is available throughout your event to assist you or your event coordinator with questions you may have. Furthermore, during the event Derby Lane provides onsite security, valet parking and up to two staff members to support vendors and ensure your stay goes smoothly.  ​

  • Why do you include Valet Parking? What if I don't want to use Valet services?

    • To control traffic, ensure parking flows smoothly, and to add additional value to your ​guests, Derby Lane includes valet parking during your event. All guests must use valet parking throughout the event. 

  • Is there a bridal suite and a location for the groom to get ready?

    • Derby Lane maintains an expansive bridal suite with two (2) full baths and showers, dressing room, sitting room and an expansive outdoor ​patio. Furthermore, a dedicated grooms area with expansive seating, pool table and seclusion is provided for the groomsmen. 

  • Do you require insurance and what is the security deposit?

    • Event liability and property insurance must be obtained prior​ to your rental. You may meet the requirements through any vendor, however, Derby Lane can provide you with its dedicated insurance agent for sourcing the policy to ensure all requirements are met. A security / damage deposit equal to the deductible maintained on your insurance policy is required 10 days prior to your rental.
